A separate arm of Cognac Ferrand, Gabriel & Associes was created specifically to offer cognacs that are unblended, coming from a single estate or chateau. As with all cognacs produced under the Ferrand empire, the emphasis is on producing individual, high quality artisan cognacs in the traditional methods that date back many decades. The concept behind Cognac Gabriel & Associes is simple – to provide the facilities and opportunity small cognac growers to produce their own product and allow it to be marketed and sold. By working with vineyard owners throughout the whole region of Cognac and collaborating closely with individual producers, it has been possible for Ferrand to produce very distinct and unique cognacs from each of the growing regions within the area.
Although Cognac G&A is a relatively new concept, the house of Ferrand has a history dating back hundreds of years. When Ferrand was set up as a modern business, it was by a man who was literally born into the wine making industry - Alexandre Gabriel. His years of experience and knowledge have been passed down through the years to the expertise that is tantamount in producing the cognac that we experience today.
