Leopold Brothers--named for founder Todd Leopold--considers itself a small-batch distillery located in Denver, Colorado. They describe their products as "handcrafted" and "hand-numbered." The spirits are made in a tiny, 40 gallon copper still "you could literally wrap your arms around."

New York Sour Apple liqueur is made with a blend of sour and sweet apples. It is used with a sour mash to achieve the unique flavor. It is recommended in reduction sauces for pork chops or a sour appletini.
