All coffee liqueurs are made from a coffee base, usually that of a very weak commercial bean that is in large supply from many parts of the world and need a supporting flavor or supplement. Vanilla and chocolate are commonly used to enhance the weaker coffee bean. Not so with Kona! Kona is so enhanced with a rich full body and distinctive flavor, it needs no additives.
