“Rank wildcat” is a term for a real longshot oil well, and the distiller has taken a leap of faith with the Sweet Crude made from Louisiana sugarcane (“as close to actual sugarcane juice as possible”) in a process, utilizing “high-quality syrup and raw sugar”, not tied to seasonal cane harvest. A handcrafted stainless and copper still called Lulu is responsible for the actual distillation. Note: This product is currently only available in Louisiana.
