Avalanche liqueur started off as DeKuyper’s blue peppermint schnapps decades ago.

It was rebranded as Avalanche in the 90’s with DeKuyper’s peppermint schnapps then switching to clear. The brand has long been dead in the US due to lack of sales. As the DeKuyper booze sold in the US has been made by Jim Bean since the 60’s, when Suntory, the massive conglomerate that’s one of the largest alcoholic beverage companies in the world, bought Jim Bean they now own the Avalanche brand.
