Comments:

Belle Meade Bourbon is produced by Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery out of Nashville Tennessee. The bourbon is a pre-Prohibition brand originally produced by the Charles Nelson Distillery before it was shut down during Prohibition. Nelson’s great-great-great-grandsons revived the brand and began rebottling it in 2013. While the company currently distills at their Nashville location, Belle Meade Bourbon is sourced from Lawrenceburg, Indiana. The company states that Belle Meade Bourbon uses “a proprietary blend of differing mash bills and yeast strains” and “is a high rye blend of barrels averaging in age from 6-8 years.”
