Founded in 1870 in Alsace, Distillerie G. E. Massenez remains today one of the last family-owned firms dedicated to the production of traditional, top-quality brandies and liqueurs. It is in fact this dedication to the “distillerie artisanale” which led Eugene Massenez to develop a formula for raspberry eau-de-vie and making it commercially available. The distillation method is still a closely-guarded family secret.
Uncompromising on quality, G.E. Massenez is today universally acclaimed for his eaux de vie (fruit brandies) such as wild Rasperry and Williams Pear as well as his crÍ¨mes liqueurs : Peach, Blackcurrant, Blackberry, etc…G.E. Massenez has won many awards at international exhibitions, including the world oscar for quality in 1980.
This creme liqueur is the Peach flavor (which we love!) and can be used in many ways. First of all, it makes an incredibly delicious Bellini. Pour a little at the bottom of your flute, then fill the glass with an off-dry Prosecco, and garnish with a slice of fresh Peach. You may also pour this liqueur over vanilla ice cream and serve with a simple butter cookie. Or make a fun Peach cocktail with a shot of the liqueur over ice plus club soda and garnish with lime.
