Cupcake vodkas are made in collaboration with Cupcake Vineyards and Master Sommelier Doug Frost, which is winery in Monterey County, California and the vodkas are intended to capture “the personality of Cupcake wines.” It is a corn-based vodka made with 100% American-grown grain. It is then blended down with water from the Sierra Nevada Mountains–which they regard as adding necessary mineral content to the flavor of the vodka–and then given a traditional charcoal filtration.
Cupcake Devil’s Food chocolate flavored vodka is made with a “dark, rich, bittersweet chocolate” according to their marketing website.
