Cupcake vodkas are made in collaboration with Cupcake Vineyards and Master Sommelier Doug Frost, which is a winery in Monterey County, California and the vodkas are intended to capture “the personality of Cupcake wines.” It is a corn-based vodka made with 100% American-grown grain. It is then blended down with water from the Sierra Nevada Mountains–which they regard as adding necessary mineral content to the flavor of the vodka–and then given a traditional charcoal filtration.
Cupcake offers a Frosting Vanilla flavored vodka. You’re not going to get much more unusual than this. Vanilla Frosting Vodka?! In their effort to produce the best frosting flavored vodka ever (a sparsely populated category to be sure) the Cupcake Vodka folks promise: “Fun and frothy vanilla in aromas and flavors that perfectly capture the enticing character of white frosting.”
