Comments:

Karner Blue gin is made in New Hampshire at the Flag Hill winery where they craft their spirit from a base not of grain–which is the most common form of alcohol used for gin–but from locally grown apples. They infuse it with a series of 8 botanicals including juniper berries, orris root, cubab berries, lemon zest and summer savory. The name is in honor of the endangered New Hampshire state butterfly called the Karner Blue Butterfly. An image of the butterfly appears on the bottle. The label is produced by the New Hampshire-based Flag Hill Winery and Distillery but owned by Blueprint Brands, a company specializing in craft-distilled products under the umbrella company of L. Knife & Sons.
