First introduced in the U.S. in 1990, Ketel One Vodka is the creation of one of Holland’s oldest distilling dynasties, the Nolet family of Schiedam. Since its introduction, Ketel One has been acknowledged as perhaps the finest vodka available to this country’s discerning consumers-a reputation that has been borne out by the brand’s phenomenal growth; in fact, it currently ranks as one of Holland’s fastest-growing exports to the U.S. From 1993 through 1996, sales grew by a factor of ten. In 1996, and again in 1997, Ketel One was awarded “Hot Brand Status” by the trade publication Impact in recognition of its record-setting expansion.
