King William IV is a brand which is owned by Diageo. Within the group, it was owned by a small Glasgow company called John Gillon & Co. Gillon doesn’t really exist any more – they were licensees for Glenury-Royal distillery and were latterly a subsidiary of Ainslie & Hielbron, the licensees for Oban distillery.
