It boasts twice as much juniper as the original and ten times the citrus. In this version, the brothers are adding a note of bergamot to the Valencia orange and pomello zest. At 114 proof, this is not a spirit to take lightly — its expressely made for tall Gin Rickeys, Tom Collins and Gin & Tonics. The proof and name harken back to the days of the British Navy discovery that gunpowder soaked in gin from a broken cask would still ignite if the spirit was 57% alcohol.
