Osborne Magno Brandy is aged in American oak barrels using the solera process of retaining a portion of the oldest barrel for the next blend. They developed it to be “intense and harmonious” on the nose with a slightly sweet taste.
The Osborne Group is named for Thomas Osborne Mann, originally of England, who settled in Cadiz, Spain at the end of the 18th century and entering the wine-trading business. It has remained in the family for the subsequent 200 years. In 1987, they expanded the company to distilling brandy and eau-de-vie. Today, they produce wine, spirits, and a variety of pork products. The Osborne Bull is the trademark of the company, first invented in 1956 as 12 foot-high images of the fighting bull made famous by Spanish tradition.
