Old Ezra is a product of Luxco, a spirits producer/bottler based in St. Louis, Missouri. Luxco contracts with Heaven Hill Distillery to produce their Old Ezra and Ezra Brooks bourbons. Old Ezra uses a genuine sour mash recipe, is charcoal filtered.
Ezra Brooks is one of those bourbons that tries to look like Jack Daniels – square black bottle, mention of charcoal filtering, etc.
