Metaxa Ouzo is their take on the Greek classic liqueur presented clear and flavored with a series of botanicals but always with the signature anise (black licorice) dominant.

The Metaxa Distillery was founded by Spyros Metaxas in 1888 based and has been specializing in special liqueurs based upon Greek wines ever since. It achieved popularity in the early part of the century and has recently changed ownership, ending up with the Remy-Cointreau Group.
