In the French language, a pecher is a peach tree and a peche is a sin. To these nearly sound-alike words add mignon, meaning cute, and the result is both a pun and the name of a new liqueur.

Whether that liqueur, Pêcher Mignon, amounts to a cute little sin is a matter of personal morality. But consumers have apparently decided that its perfectly-captured aroma and flavor of white Roussillon peaches are a matter of artistic distillation.
