75th Anniversary 750 ML bottle of American blended whisky. It was produced to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the brand.

Today Seagram’s 7 Crown is owned by Pernod Ricard who make several drinks under the name.

The brand, however, dates back to the mid 1800s in Ontario, Canada out of which the company Seagram’s was born. It went on to become, at one point in its history, the largest distiller of alcoholic drinks in the world. Seagram’s 7 Crown was hugely popular, particularly in the 1970s, when tens of millions of cases of it were sold each year.

It is less popular now but remains part of the ever-unfolding Canadian and American whisky story.

The Seagram Company was created in 1928 and has since grown into a multi-national corporation employing over 30,000 employees and distributing thousands of beverages, wines, and spirits across the world.

Noted for its many types of whiskey, Seagram began producing Seagram’s 7, one of its most popular brands of blended whiskey. They have celebrated their 75th anniversary with a redesign of the label on the Seagram’s 7 bottle.

The bottle is more simplistic in nature yet appears to have more ornamentation and a slightly Art Nouveau style, much like early advertising posters in the 1920’s and 1930’s when the company began. In comparison to the newer bottle, it has less “flash” and elegance as would be expected during an earlier period of the company’s history.
