Tequila 7 Leguas Anejo – 24 months of loving care are present in this Anejo, subtle scents of slowly cooked agave mingle with delicate oak after aging for two years.
One of the oldest distilleries in Mexico, Casa Siete Leguas has more than fifty years of experience in the making of tequila by means of a traditional process delivering full-bodied, high-quality spirits of refined flavor. Tequila Siete Leguas is steeped in heritage and tradition, and consists of a Blanco, a Reposado, an Añejo and a D’Antano, all made of 100% Tequilana Weber Agave. The D’Antano is aged up to five years. This tequila carries the name of Pancho Villa’s famous horse.
History: The Tequila Siete Leguas distillery was responsible for producing the “original” Patron Tequila brand, and brand rights were sold to St. Maarten Spirits, owners John Paul DeJoria (Paul Mitchell Hair Products) and Martin Crowley in 1989. As the brand grew, Tequila Siete Leguas was no longer able to keep up with production, and Patron built a new distillery and moved all production in 2002.
