Comments:

Silivertip Gin is made at in Kalispell, Montana by the Ridge Distillery. It is made from their own base of grain spirit and infused with herbs, many of which are grown on site at their 15 acres in the mountains. They describe their gin as “boldly spicy” and “lightly floral” made with traditional juniper, coriander, carraway, orris root, and angelica. The gins are batch distilled in traditional copper pot still. We have listed this as a “modern” gin given the label of “American,” which generally implies less juniper and more floral characteristics.

The 2011 Beverage Testing Institute noted that Silvertip was “very well made” but because of the anise flavor regarded it as a “more of a licorice cordial than a gin.”
