The Knot is NOT Irish whiskey, it’s a liqueur like Grand Marnier, Drambuie, etc. Notice it doesn’t have “Irish Whiskey” printed on the label, only mentions “Irish Spirits”. Since it’s flavored with honey and herbs, it’s not allowed to call itself Irish whiskey. Binney’s and BevMo have it wrong also, probably partly intentional like the bottler of this stuff—my guess is it’s sourced alcohol with color and flavors added just before bottled.
