Ungava Dry gin is made in Quebec, Canada. It presents as a pale yellow color. They are proud to infuse their gin with six herbs indigenous to the territory and handpicked during the “fleeting” summer months. These include wild rose hips, arctic blend (a type of tea also known as north labrador tea), cloudberry, labrador tea, crowberry, and nordic juniper. They describe the taste as “floral and spicy.” Because of these non-traditional, floral ingredients we have opted to list this as a modern-style gin as opposed to a more juniper forward traditional gin.
