The Sangster’s label was developed by Dr. Ian Sangster; a Scottish immigrant who came to Jamaica in 1967, where he made the region found five miles from Gordon Town the World’s End home of Sangster’s liqueurs and flavored rums.

They age and blend their own fine rums plus a range of exotic, rum-based liqueurs using home-produced natural essences and extracts.

A hit in the early years of the Sangster’s liqueurs was the Sangster’s World’s End Wild Orange Liqueur. However, this line of liqueurs was discontinued when the company changed hands with J Wray and Nephew following the death of Dr. Sangster.
