Wisniowka – the type of color vodka with taste and aroma of cherries . Typically sweet, with a very high content of the alcohol (approx. 35%), produced industrially by diluting alcohol with water, sugar and aroma cherry. This product is sometimes referred to as the English name “Cherry Cordial” .

In the classic recipe may add liqueur cherry performed by several weeks (approx. 2 months) macerating cherries, previously lacking seed , in alcohol or vodka, and then dosłodzenie extract syrup.
